 [If you happen to be around the fountain in the morning, you will witness a curious sight: A shirtless young man, clearly in his late teens, halfway comfortably sprawled inside the fountain, wet and not particularly caring about it. Right after he dropped there, one might find him with a journal on his face, which he stares at for a long, long time before finally deigning to pull it off his face and reveal features that might be familiar to some of the inhabitants of the village. Very, very familiar.

Mihawk is back, and even though it seems like he only got a shave, he's in truth a couple decades younger than he was when he was taken last week. Approach with caution, he has no filters. Which is demonstrated pretty easily when he finally pulls himself off the fountain - only to sit at the rim instead - and starts fiddling with the journal.

Half-lidded golden eyes stare at the camera, then.]

...well shit. That sure just happened. If there's a record for greatest hangover ever, I think I just broke it.

[He snorts, smirking. Behold the sight of Dracule Mihawk being young enough to actually emote.]

[Well shit indeed. Norma sure did just happen across a shirtless and wet man in the fountain on her way back from the library today. She pauses, the awkward silence and her concern for the poor guy broken only by her snort when she sees the journal on his face, and creeps closer, leaning over the fountain. She braces her hands on the rim of it, peering down at the young man - also kind of assessing the guy's looks. Hmm...bout a seven, possibly an eight just by build alone. Not bad, not bad.]

Okay, while Norma can't pick out the voice to save her life, she certainly remembers those eyes. They're weirdest pair she's ever seen in her life - there's no way she could forget those peepers. But still...]

[And guess who just so happens to be heading to the smithy today, with a beautifully ornate and large sword strapped to her back? Yes, Perona decided that she should do something nice for Mihawk when he returns - whenever that may be - and decided to take in Yoru to get cleaned and polished. The actual blade part is wrapped up tight with soft leather, after nearly shredding off a leg trying to pick the damn thing up (it's heavy...), and she's been having to float to the village to avoid dragging it on the ground or setting it on her back in a way that would agitate her wings.

Honestly, she's regretting this entire thing, grumbling and looking sour as she wafts effortlessly through the air, but pauses when she sees what she believes in a familiar figure sitting on the rim of the fountain. O-Oh! Thank goodness! He's finally returned!]

[Mihawk looked up at Perona, expression carefully blank. Youthful and blank. Stare at all this youthfulness.]

Freezing. In place, and properly staring and looking like Mihawk sprouted a third eye or something. Wh-What...happened--his face! Where was his mustache?! His beard, the frown lines and the subtle yet delicate signs of aging?! The hell is this little fledgling?!

Her shoulders drop first, before Perona droops out of the air, mouth open.]
